What's New in AliveColors 9.2

The AliveColors graphics editor has been updated! Version 9.2 offers the new Desaturate adjustment, enhanced cropping features, as well as other improvements, flatpak on Linux, and bug fixes. Download the recent version!

New Desaturate Adjustment

The Desaturate adjustment (Image -> Adjustment -> Desaturate) allows you to quickly convert a color image to black and white. It automatically reduces the saturation of each color to zero and converts each color to its grayscale equivalent.

Enhanced Cropping Features

The update offers some enhancements in the Crop and Perspective Crop tools. These powerful and frequently used tools allow you to cut off an image to make a focus on a desired object, adjust to desired sizes, or fix perspective distortions.

Other Improvements & Bug Fixes

• Added the N+"mouse wheel" hot-key for changing brush size for the retouching tools: Spot Remover, Red Eye Remover, and Teeth Whitening.
• Added loading of layer effects from PSD.
• Added the software installation using Flatpak on Linux.
• Added the Show Customer Name in Application Title option to the program Preferences.
• Increased the program stability and fixed bugs:
  - an error in determining the number of actual layers, which caused an unnecessary message;
  - an error of exceeding the limits of the histogram array for some images in the Match Color adjustment;
  - an error with network printers in Linux.

Free Update

Customers who purchased/upgraded AliveColors during the last 12 months can update to the new version for free.

Download version 9.2. If necessary, re-activate it using your key.

Paid Update

Customers with older versions, whose license is not valid for the latest version, can update to AliveColors 9.2 for $ 20.

When ordering the update, please enter your key of the program into the "Serial number" field. After the payment is completed, your license becomes valid for the new version and all subsequent updates within a year.
Re-activate the latest version using your key.
