May 2, 2023 — AKVIS announces a major update of the AliveColors cross-platform image editor. Version 7.0 provides new color corrections adjustments, a new artistic effect, new retouching tools, as well as an extensive list of changes and fixes.
AliveColors is a powerful image editing program with a wide range of tools, adjustments, effects, neural filters, a library of presets and textures. It is a raster-based graphics editor with some vector tools and features. AliveColors contains a set of built-in plugins and some other developments of the AKVIS company. The latest update of AliveColors includes a lot of new features and improvements.
Version 7.0 adds two long-awaited adjustments (also accessible as adjustment layers) necessary for photo correction and requested by professionals: Selective Color and Color Lookup (3D LUT). Both include a number of presets for fast processing.
The update also offers a new artistic filter for creative users - the Stencil effect that converts a photo into an impressive eye-catching drawing.
The new Retouching Tools are designed to improve portrait shots - removing small skin imperfections, correcting red eyes, whitening teeth. Besides, the new version provides a series of enhancements in tools, adjustments, and filters, new workspace presets, interface, performance, and stability improvements, and many bug fixes.

AliveColors runs on Windows 7-11, macOS 10.12-13.0 (M1/Intel), and Linux OS.
The program supports a multi-language interface, configurable by switching in the program preferences.
Besides the free version, the program comes in Home ($55) and Business ($160) lifetime licenses, both are fully functional. The update is free for recent buyers. Users with older versions, whose license is not valid for AliveColors 7.0, can update the program for $20.
