AliveColors 9.1 Graphics Editor Update: New Image Adjustments

February 8, 2024 — AKVIS announces an update of AliveColors, a comprehensive cross-platform graphics editor for Windows, macOS, Linux. Version 9.1 offers new color correction adjustments, enhanced Guidelines, and many other improvements and bug fixes.

AliveColors is a powerful image editing program. The graphics editor includes a wide range of retouching, drawing, painting tools, color correction options, artistic effects, neural filters (AI), presets and textures libraries. The program contains a set of the built-in AKVIS plugins and some other developments of the AKVIS company.

Version 9.1 offers the new Match Color and Equalize adjustments. The Match Color adjustment allows users to transform colors of an image according to another image, create a unified look by applying a certain tone to a series of photos. The Equalize adjustment automatically makes the brightest areas in an image white, and the darkest areas - black, enhancing the image contrast. The new version adds advanced management of Guidelines. Now, a free orientation is available for these auxiliary lines; users can set the exact position and angle of rotation of the guidelines. The Curves and Color Lookup (3D LUT) adjustments have been enhanced as well. Also, the update adds the mask inversion command, improved loading and reading of RAW files, and other changes. The title of the program window now displays the version number and license information. In addition, the update fixes a number of bugs and improves stability.

The image editor is available for download at alivecolors.com. The trial period includes 10 days of fully functional use.

AliveColors runs on Windows 7-11, macOS 10.12 (Sierra) - macOS 14 (Sonoma), and Linux OS. The software supports a multi-language interface, configurable by switching in the program preferences.

AliveColors Free with slightly limited functionality is available for everyone for personal use. Also, the program comes in full-featured lifetime licenses: AliveColors Home ($55) for personal use and AliveColors Business ($160) for commercial use.

The update is free for all users who bought the software in the last 12 months. Users with older versions, whose license is not valid for AliveColors 9.1, can update the program for $20.
