AliveColors 9.6 Graphics Editor — Now Even Better!

August 14, 2024 — AKVIS announces an update of AliveColors, a comprehensive graphics editor for Windows, macOS, Linux. Version 9.6 introduces professional capabilities for precise and reliable color management and work with color profiles, new Photocopy effect, Save for Web, Fill with Pattern and various enhancements to tools, commands, filters, and dialogs.

 

AliveColors is a powerful image editing program. The graphics editor includes a wide range of options for creating and editing images, tools for retouching, drawing, painting, color correction options, artistic effects, neural filters (AI), presets and textures libraries. The program contains a set of the built-in AKVIS plugins and some other developments of the AKVIS company.

With each new version, the program acquires new functionality, while existing capabilities are developed and improved. The developer company "AKVIS Lab" tries to meet the needs of users and adds new functions, changes and improves the current arsenal of the program. Version 9.6 introduces professional color management and color profile capabilities, which is necessary for accurate and predictable color transfer to different output devices (screens, printers, etc.).

The new Photocopy filter is used to imitate the effect of a photocopied image, creating a high-contrast two-color print. Like other AliveColors effects, Photocopy includes a number of ready-to-use presets.

The New Image dialog has been redesigned. Now it offers more options for creating projects, more simplicity and flexibility.

The Save for Web feature, added in the new version, allows users to compare the original and optimized images and choose the best format, quality, and file size for publishing on the Internet.

Also, the update offers loading of different files into layers of one document, the Fill command with the Color/Pattern/History modes, the improved LUT Editor for creating color lookup tables, the enhanced tools - Fit Text to Path, Crop, Zoom, etc. - and many other improvements and bug fixes.

The image editor is available for download at alivecolors.com. The trial period includes 10 days of fully functional use.

AliveColors is a 64-bit app and runs on Windows 7-11, macOS 10.12 (Sierra) - macOS 14 (Sonoma), and Linux OS.

The software supports a multi-language interface, configurable by switching in the program preferences.

AliveColors Free with slightly limited functionality is available for everyone for personal use. Also, the program comes in full-featured lifetime licenses: AliveColors Home ($55) for personal use and AliveColors Business ($160) for commercial use.

The update is free for all users who bought the software in the last 12 months. Users with older versions, whose license is not valid for AliveColors 9.6, can update the program for $20.
