The October update of AliveColors brings a number of improvements and many bugs fixes! The recent version offers the Grayscale option for the High Pass filter, some enhancements in the Effects Gallery, the update of the MakeUp plugin, support for more RAW formats, etc. Make your images look their best! Improved High Pass Effect

The High Pass effect allows you to raise the tonal contrast and increase image sharpness.

The update adds the Grayscale option to High Pass that allows applying the filter in the desaturation mode to reduce color noise and halo along the edges. The result looks much better!

Apply this powerful filter in multi-stage processing. Make your photos more vibrant and sharp!

Update of MakeUp Plugin

The MakeUp built-in plugin has been updated. The plugin improves portrait photographs, removes irregularities and imperfections and creates beautifully smooth skin, flawless yet natural.

Also, in the new version:

Enhanced the Effects Gallery.
Changed the range of the shift parameters for the Fit Text to Path tool.
Improved the publishing module.
Added a warning about data loss when saving a document (File -> Save).
Modified the algorithm for adding an alpha channel to a selection.
Extended the list of supported RAW formats:
- CR3: Canon EOS R5, Canon EOS 850D, Canon EOS-1D X Mark III;
- NEF: NIKON Z 5;
- ARW: Sony ILCE-7C, Sony ILCE-7SM3;
- RAF: FUJIFILM X-S10;
- RW2: Panasonic DC-S5.

Bugs Fixes

The update increases the program's stability and fixes bugs:

- an image scaling error after using built-in plugins;
- an error that caused the program to freeze when a modal window appeared above the color selection dialog;
- an error with filling by the alpha channel;
- a translation error in the Displace effect;
- an error of creating a new selection from an existing locked selection.
