Learn how to add explosion effects to images. In this video tutorial, we used AliveColors with the AKVIS Explosion plugin (Particles effect).
For this video, you can display subtitles (captions) according to your language.
Select the desert and the pyramid.
Copy the selected area to the new layer (Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V).
Make one more copy of the background layer.
Choose the Clone Stamp tool.
Destroy the top of the pyramid.
We will apply an explosion effect to a separate layer.
Add text. For example: EXPLOSION.
Disable its visibility for now.
Prepare the location of the text.
Select a bottom area of the sand.
Copy it to a new layer (Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V).
Move it above all layers.
Place the text so that the top layer slightly overlaps the letters.
Edit the top layer for better embedding of the text.
Rasterize the text layer.
Quickly select the letters (Add Alpha Channel to Selection).
Apply a gradient to the text.
Duplicate the layer.
Turn off the visibility of the first text layer.
Call the AKVIS Explosion plugin on the text layer copy.
Select the Particles effect.
Set the Angle of the effect and the Wind Direction.
Select an area of destruction.
Choose the shape of the particles.
Adjust the effect parameters.
Add more effect.
Hide the background to get the effect on transparency.
Turn on visibility of the original text layer.
Add the Emboss effect.
Move the layer with the explosion effect.
Adjust the Emboss settings for the text layer.
For a more realistic effect, remove a part of the letters.
Choose Layer 1 (the sand with the transparent background).
Call the AKVIS Explosion plugin.
Select the effect area at top of the pyramid.
Hide the background and apply the effect.
