LUT (Look-Up Table) is a table that contains the values of hue, intensity, and saturation for each color. In simple terms, it is equivalent to a color preset, which translates one set of values into another one. Using the AliveColors photo editor, we can change these values to achieve the color correction we need.
For this video, you can display subtitles (captions) according to your language.

In this video tutorial, you'll learn what LUTs are and how to use them in AliveColors image editor.
LUT or a Look-Up Table is a table that contains the hue, brightness, and saturation values for each color.
In simple terms, it is equivalent to a color preset, which translates one set of values into another set of values.
Using AliveColors, we can change those values to apply a color correction that we need.
Here we have this wonderful video, but I think it needs some color correction.
Save a frame from the video.
Start the AliveColors image editor and open that frame.
Next, we create an adjustment layer.
Pick a color lookup option.
In the window that opens, we can create a new LUT.
Using the pipette tool, select the color of the sky and make it a little darker.
Next, select the water color and make it a little bluer.
Save the LUT.
You can use this LUT in any program that has the necessary functionality, including AliveColors.
Let's open another image.
Create the same type of the adjustment layer.
Select the LUT we created earlier.
And here we go.
But you need to consider that LUTs are not a universal thing. They are best used for photos and footage shot with the same camera.
Let's go back to our video in Premiere Pro.
To apply the LUT, use the Lumetri Color effect.
In the Basic Correction tab, select the file.
And there you have it.
The video becomes instantly more vibrant and alive.
