Content-Aware Fill allows you to fill a selection with the contents of the surrounding area using a trained neural network.

Make a selection and choose in the menu: Edit → Content-Aware Fill.

Note: Content-Aware Fill works only with an active selection.

Parameters:

Expand Area (1-100%). The expansion of the sampling area (as a percentage of the selection size) from which the data for filling the selection is taken.

Scale Method. In the drop-down list, select the scaling method for the fill result.

 

Click Default to restore the original settings.

Click OK to apply the changes to the image and close the parameters.

Click Cancel to close the dialog box without applying changes.
